Look Tuesday

There wasn’t a huge deal that I particularly liked in the magazine today, and even from the stuff I have picked out below, nothing particularly leapt out at me. I did see some lovely things out in the shops today including this dress from Miss Selfridge. It looks really lovely in real life! Speaking of seeing things in real life, last week on Look Tuesday, I picked out a floral print dress from H&M. I saw that in store this week but in pink and its very nice. (Also in the issue last week there was a khaki dress from H&M. I didn’t mention it in my post but I saw it in store. Yuck. That’s all that needs to be said).

As usual, the photos are appalling but thats so you’ll buy the magazine yourself. I don’t want to be told off for displaying the whole thing properly so the pictures have to be bad, sorry! In the pic below, I really like the clutch and the pink dress from French Connection. They are both pretty expensive really but their stuff is always really well made and usually a nice fit. Neither are available on the website yet but should be soon I think. You can see a preview of the other dress in pink on their website. Very pretty.

In the image on the left below, I really like the floral dress and horse t-shirt from H&M. I didn’t see them in store a few days ago so hopefully they’ll be there next time I go in so I can get a good look at them. A lot of the time, H&M disappoints me with their stuff in real life because I don’t always think the quality is that great. In the image on the right below, there are some lovely shoes! I love the Faith shoes and I am very pleased because I got a very similar pair in the New Look sale a few days ago for only £5. Bargain! The Marks & Spencer pair are lovely and of course, the most expensive on the page by French Sole are very gorgeous too.

Finally, we have something that is not clothing or shoes; but a home accessory. In the image below they feature a gorgeous pink candelabra decorated with flowers and birds from Berry Red. It really is lovely. If I had my own place I would definitely be buying it but I don’t really have a need for a candelabra in my bedroom. There is also 15% off at their site for Look readers :)

Look Tuesday!

Today is Look Tuesday! That means that the new issue of Look magazine is out today. I love Look because I like looking at all the new clothes from High Street (also known as affordable!) stores. I hate all the celeb stuff in it but I can get over that for looking at the clothes :) So every week on a Tuesday now, I am going to pick out my favourite things from the mag to share with you. The pictures this week are pretty bad quality but you’ll get the idea. You’ll need to go and buy the mag if you want to look at them properly!

On the image below (click them to see them bigger), I really like the double denim outfit on the left. I think it looks better with it being two really different shades. If you try and match two items shade-wise, I think it could go drastically wrong so two really different shades would look best. In my opinion of course :)

I really like the bag shapes below but I already have a few this shape so don’t really need any more. Did spot one in a charity shop the other day though so may have to go back and see if it is still there as it was rather nice, super cheap, and for a good cause! I like the Dorothy Perkins one best but not for £65.

Finally, I really like a lot of the items on these two pages. The heart jumper from Oasis is cute but the digital print dress is amazing. It looks really spacey and I am loving anything space themed at the moment so that is brilliant. Not keen on the shape of it though which is a shame. Not so sure about any of the M&S stuff, but I really like the H&M dress. However, you can almost guarantee that none of my local/semi-local H&M’s will stock it. Grrr!
